Ottawa RedBlacks Calgary Sport reviews
Shinedown Five Finger
Overall, the show was loved. Bad Wolves needs more vocal volume and less volume. Starset needed consistent vocal volume, occasionally fading into the music. Shinedown, well, I am spoiled by an intimate acoustic concert we saw in KC. Good interaction with the crowd, but please decrease the background music when speaking between songs to enhance understanding. Play your big songs – they are big for a reason. Did not know a lot about Ottawa RedBlacks, but they sounded the best from a balance standpoint. Clear and understandable vocals, even though many of their songs were unfamiliar. A much more down-to-earth band than expected. Great audience interaction. A concert is all about hearing it. Turn down the background music a bit when speaking between songs, I'd like to understand what you are saying. Didn't get to hear How Did You Love, Ghost, Unity. They are big songs for a reason, please play them. Don't give us such long pauses of black silence between songs. Please look at the tweaks suggested, makes it that much better IMO.
